The 2007 Nextel Cup Series was the 59th season of the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. The season began with the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 18 and ended with the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 18. The Toyota Camry made its debut, becoming the first time a foreign Manufacturer to ran in NASCAR competition since 1963. After testing in 2006, The Car of Tomorrow made its first run, competing in 16 cup races.
