Der Kveen is the leader of the Insects, and apparently performs the functions that a queen does in a real insect colony. In Too Much Chow!, Der Kveen metamorphoses into a spherical flying form, then consumes all of the Insects, who line up to feed themselves to her. As one, they fly up through the Four Realities, attack and restrain the Beans, and eat the entire mountain of excess Chow. Der Kveen then lays a vast quantity of "Aigs," and dies. Proffy kept the corpse of Der Kveen, which is now stored at the bottom of the Fix-It Shop.
