The Orion-class Destroyer Mark I was Blackthorne Enterprises' symbol of safety, perseverance, and justice. Measuring 2.5 kilometers in length, the cost to build one of these far outweighed the cost of paying its crew for three years. The Orion's cavernous hanger bays easily accommodated nine dozen fighters or bombers. Despite its age, it is still an excellent destroyer, a menace to most capital ships above and below its size with its numerous turbolasers and warheads.
