The zoo director was a Muggle who worked at the Zoo in the summer of 1991. When a boa constrictor escaped from the reptile house after the glass in front of its cage vanished, the zoo director made Petunia Dursley a cup of strong, sweet tea while he apologised over and over again for the incident.
