The Horus-class Light Cruiser was a warship class designed for rapid reaction and interception. The ship is designed to mix high speed and decent armament to allow it to intercept warships as quickly as possible. The ship is near as fast as the Heimdall-class Frigate with much heavier armaments, heavy shielding and heavier armour.
