Vergere's Holocron was a Sith artifact purportedly created by Vergere, a Jedi Knight who was a candidate for a Sith Lord under Palpatine before the latter decided on Count Dooku instead. Vergere's Holocron was created in response to a chain of events in Vergere's life, starting with a vision of "Far Outsiders" invading the galaxy, destroying everything in their path, and ending with her betrayal of Darth Sidious. Knowing it would be impossible to enlighten the Jedi as to Darth Sidious's identity, she constructed a Holocron and made it appear as a Sith artifact, and finally planted it on Korriban shortly before her fateful mission to Zonama Sekot.
