Ramirez was a Starfleet Ensign who served aboard the USS Defiant in the early 2370s. In 2372, Ramirez was part of a combined Starfleet/Jem'Hadar strike team that was led by Captain Benjamin Sisko and First Omet'iklan to destroy an Iconian gateway that had been captured by rebel Jem'Hadar. Ramirez was killed by the rogue Dominion soldiers, shortly after the team arrived on Vandros IV. (DS9: "To the Death") Ramirez was played by Scott Leva.
