Rugby Union has a rather recent history in the Freestate having been first introduced by tourists from the Transvaal and European expatriates. The Rugby Federation of Cataduanes (In Spanish: Federación Cataduaño de Rugby, Cataduaño: Samahang Rugby ng Cataduanes) is the governing body of the Sport, It is responsible for the National Rugby team who affectionately known as los Lobos (the Wolves).
