Eragon taught Roran how to shield his mind from magicians. Then, Eragon healed Roran's shoulder, which had been bitten by one of the Ra'zac. Roran described it as a squirming feeling as all his muscles and sinew were knit back together. They also discussed Eragon's misplaced love for Arya. At the end, there was a bit of foreshadowing, when Eragon asks what he should do about "him".
