His Grace Edmund, Margrave of Greifstein was the 12th Governor-General of Greater Hulstria. From 2702 to 2739 he served as theStaatsminister of His Imperial Majesty's Government and additionally was the Chairman of the Kaiserliche Hulsterreichische Partei. The title of Margrave of Greifstein would later come under the banner of the House of Flieder after his death; his only daughter would marry the Duke of Flieder and their child, Edmund's grandson, would take up both titles of the Duke of Flieder and Margrave of Greifstein.
