Kryve has been described as a frozen conflict zone. Economically isolated and dependent on Russia Kryve has suffered through famine and human right abuses along with inequality. The Slavic Liberation Party, the successor to the Slavic Liberation Army, is the dominant political force in Kryve which maintains a semi-presidential republic with the current president being Vasily Belorusov and the current Prime Minister Edmundovich Usenko. Although claiming sovereignty over the city of Korgochyan the actual capital is Domanivka.
