Harridge was a reverend that lived in the town of Collinsport, Maine in the early 19th century. He became close friends with another minister known as Reverend Strack. In 1810, Reverend Harridge fell victim to a witch known as Angelique. Reverend Strack learned of his friend’s death and arrested Angelique on a charge of witchcraft. She was hung from an old oak tree on the grounds of the Collinwood estate.
