She began her on-screen career in the early 1980s with appearances in Swamp Thing (1982, with Adrienne Barbeau, Ray Wise, Dick Durock, and Nicholas Worth) and the original The Nightmare on Elm Street (1984, with David Andrews and Heather Langenkamp) before making guest appearances on a number of television shows including the 1980s versions of Beauty and the Beast and The Twilight Zone. She appeared in 1991's Servants of Twilight which also featured Carel Struycken as a supporting role. In 1992, she appeared on Seinfeld (featuring Voyager guest actor Jason Alexander), the television movie Grand Tour: Disaster in Time (with George Murdock, Lori Lively, Nicholas Guest, Emilia Crow, and Time Winters), and the film Mikey (with Brian Bonsall). She also appeared in 1997's Just Write with Wallace
