A Conch (Genus Strombus) is an ocean-dwelling mollusk which mostly resides in the Pacific and Indian Oceans (and also the Caribbean) known most well for its distinctive shell. Conches, however, are very strange looking creatures, having 2 long eye stalks and a siphon tube for feeding. Cyclopean is an adjective used to refer to Cyclops, which where one-eyed giants in Greek mythology. Thus, a Cyclopean Conch would be a one-eyed conch.
