Janul of Gris Province was a mage, former High Fist, and part of the Old Guard. He was the brother and partner of Janelle, with whom he had performed many dangerous missions for former Emperor Kellanved. Later, during a time of unrest, he named himself Tyrant of Delanss and was "only brought to heel by a rather expensive diversion of resources."
