"Gem Dragon" is a small series of Dragon monsters whose Japanese names consist of the name of a precious gem, followed by the kana for "Dragon": "ドラゴン". All monsters of this series are either LIGHT or WIND, except for the DARK "Labradorite Dragon". They are also all Normal Monsters, except for the Effect Monster "Diamond Head Dragon". This series also includes "Hyozanryu", since its Japanese name is literally translated as "Diamond Dragon".
