Dinner-bots are remote-controlled machines created by Chas, who uses them to serve food for the triceratops colonists on Aggadon. They resemble small robots with stalklike "eyes" under a glass dome that travel on s single treader that is in place of feet. Chas doesn't view them as true robots, instead describing them as a hobby that he put together to help calm himself down during the colonists' ongoing encounters with monsters.
