The early stages of MD Technology were shrouded im mistery. First evidence of it's development was discovered after the fall of ArkDeF. Found aboard the space station Arke were plans to build a massive gravity bomb. The Project known as "Aurora" was to create a device that could cripple a sun. Little progress had been made but a miniture prototype had been perfected. This "Gravity Grenade" was in its initial field tests when the project was shut down along with all other research aboard the Arke.
