Mardu Avoa was the president of the Drearian Defense Conglomerate and after Avoa's son was kidnapped by Thalassian slavers, he was rescued by the bounty hunter Corvastan Benelex. Benelex's experience while rescuing Avoa's son inspired the hunter to subsequently found the bounty hunter chapter House Benelex.
