The German Championship was the German Robot Wars equivalent of the UK Championship, in order to determine the national champion of Germany. The championship also featured robots from Holland and Switzerland, as well as overweight competitors, due to a lack of ready, reliable German robots. Unlike the Dutch Championship, there was no recognition given to the various international champions.
