The MerrWeapons WorldArmor 9 is MerrSonn's primary shutter shield unit. It is one of the most powerful units in the galaxy, able to cover a huge amount of territory with a shield capable of repelling almost any amount of firepower thrown at it. Shutter shield units are not "solid walls" like encasing shields, but are variable output, variable area capable. They can be overlapped to reinforce protection, and can randomly open various sections of the shield to allow ground-based weaponry to fire, to release starfighters strikes, capital ship sorties, or even blockade runners.
