Schalla's youthful voice has often been heard dubbing "frat boy" types in comedies. He is the principal German dub voice of Seann William Scott and has also dubbed Seth Green (Can't Hardly Wait), Matthew Lillard (She's All That), and Joey Lawrence (Blossom). He also dubs the character "The Todd" on Scrubs. In animation, he voiced Wheeler in Captain Planet and Van Fanel in Vision of Escaflowne.
