Short Snout is a male wolf. He belongs to the Long Lake pack, which moved there from Snowsdale. He appears along the rest of his pack in Wolf-Speaker, the second installment in the Immortals quartet. He also appears briefly in Page, when Maura of Dunlath, her knight guardian, Iakjou, and the wolves show up to teach the Pages about the battle in Wolf Speaker. He also raids the Pages' supply of dried meat and fruit, as identified by Wyldon of Cavall.
