Mitch Lamoureux (born August 22, 1962 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) is a retired professional ice hockey player. He played in the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers. Lamoureaux was taken 154th overall by the Penguins in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft after he scored 50 goals while forming a dangerous combination with linemate Tony Tanti. He returned to junior the next season and set a personal high with 121 points before turning pro. Lamoureux notched 57 goals for the AHL's Baltimore Skipjacks, was placed on the league's second all-star team and won the Dudley "Red" Garrett Memorial Award as the top rookie in the league.
