The fifteenth Emperor of the Scarlet Moon Empire and the younger son of Kranach Rugner. As Geil was Michelan's elder brother, ordinarily Geil would have succeeded Kranach as Emperor. However, for whatever reason, with his dying breath, Kranach instead named Michelan as his heir, infuriating Geil. Michelan Rugner's reign as Emperor of Scarlet Moon was relatively peaceful. However, his lack of political nuance led to him losing political power throughout his reign and near the end of his rule, his brother Geil Rugner had gained much influence within the Scarlet Moon House of Lords.
