The Blood of the Aztec Curse was a effortful pursuit made to lift the Aztec curse. After finding the Treasure of Cortés on the mysterious Isla de Muerta, Captain Hector Barbossa and the crew of the Black Pearl fell under the curse, doomed to live forever as undead skeletons. The curse they carry could be lifted only if all of the plundered pieces of Aztec Gold was returned and the blood debt repaid.
