Therbon was an individual who served the Galactic Empire as a Moff during the early years of its reign. The Imperial ambassador stationed on the planet Murkhana made multiple requests to the Moff for additional stormtroopers so that she could deal with local criminal elements, but the Moff sent no troops. The ambassador later complained of the Moff's inaction to the Sith Lord Darth Vader and Imperial Governor Wilhuff Tarkin when they visited Murkhana to investigate a suspected rebel cell fourteen years before the Battle of Yavin.
