Mortex Sector HQ was the Alliance to Restore the Republic Sector Headquarters for Mortex sector, located on the planet of Fangol during the Galactic Civil War. It was buried underground, and was powered by thermal collectors connected to the planet's molten core. Due to Fangol's atmosphere, an artificial moon was in geosynchronous orbit of the base to facilitate communications and sensor scans. Major Lawra Mers was stationed at the base as field mission commander, coordinating dozens of Alliance strike teams across the sector.
