A vibration cell was the part of a vibroweapon that caused it to vibrate. It was an essential part of any vibroweapon, because the damage they dealt was significantly less if there was no vibrocell. Essentially a modified energy cell, the vibration cell was used to augment many types of vibroweapons by increasing the depth to which the blade could penetrate, however this enhancement made the weapon somewhat unwieldy. The Mark II, III, & IV versions in turn allowed for a considerable increase in the potential for debilitating damage.
