Mai was a female Zabrak Jedi Master who served the New Jedi Order during the Second Imperial Civil War. Surviving the Jedi Purge, she traveled to the Hidden Jedi Temple and lived around 130 ABY. Mai attended to Azlyn Rae as Cade Skywalker and Shado Vao met with the Jedi Council. When Jariah Syn recognized Master Rasi Tuum, the Jedi he believed to have killed his father, he slowly backed away from the group. Worried, Mai followed him and asked if he was ill. This angered Syn, and he punched her, rendering her unconscious.
