Truitt was a Silesian citizen and an officer in Andre Warnecke's privateer squadron. Holding the rank of "Commander", he served as the tactical officer of the heavy cruiser President Warnecke. He was killed when the ship was destroyed by the Manticoran Q-ship Wayfarer. (HH6)
