The thunder thane is the alternate upgrade of the thane, the sixth-level creature of the Fortress, in the Heroes of Might and Magic V expansion, Tribes of the East. The thunder thane does far less damage than the flame lord, but has more hit points, and can strike enemies from afar with Storm Bolt (though only once per battle).
