Musically the album is heavier than The Poison but has less screamed vocals. It contains two ballads ("Say Goodnight" and "Forever and Always") that are popular with fans despite them not being released as singles. Benji Webbe of the Welsh Reggae Metal band Skindred made a guest appearence on "Take It Out on Me"
