Hope Crossing District was one of the boroughs with Redwood City. It is the heart of the city and can only be accessed by the Uptown to the north and Walton Bridge to the Suburbs. Here the City Hall is located, along with the Redwood City Police Station, Hospital, and Fire Department. It is also the largest district politically, but geographically beaten to second by the Suburbs. Hope Crossing was literally the birth of the city, only becoming officially a city in 1870, three years after Colorado entered the union.
