Washwood Heath is a large area in the east of Birmingham. It is a deprived area of Birmingham which witnessed a mixture of postwar development, however, retained alot of the interwar development and Victorian slum buildings. It is now a major residential area for foreign immigrants. There are four tower blocks in the area.
