Located in the Mea System, Meado has served as the surrogate homeworld of the Lylatians (subsequently known as Meadoans) following the Kreet's devastation of the Lylat System. A number of other species also reside on the lush world, including a sizable population of Aaltice. The planet's surface is dominated by nothing more than rolling grasslands, occasional mountain ranges, and a single ocean that covers almost half of the surface. It has no native life beyond grass and microbes, though trees and animals have been introduced in recent times.
