Humanoid Hunter Killer Units are androids developed and intended to be similar to a human endoskeleton in appearance and function. Skynet studied the human body, and used that knowledge to create the Infiltrators, machines that look and behave more like real humans with real skin, so they could infiltrate the Resistance.
