Growing up as a pilot with his fathers' shipping company, he quickly joined the Imperial Navy after the death of his father at the hands of the Rebels during a raid on an outpost. Suffering quite a few injuries during his commands, he was unaffectionatly known to his subordinates as the tin man due to many cybernetic implants being required for him to continue his duties in the Galactic Empire.
