The Cold War was a 'stand off' between mainly the Soviet Union and the United States that lasted from 1946 to 1985. However, due to the Great Colonisation War that begun on November 13, 1985 the Cold War was slowly coming to an end due to the US being on the same side as the Soviets. After the Great Colonisation War ended, the Cold War had already ended during the war.
