Howard Peterson is a character portrayed by George Newbern in the ABC crime series Castle. Howard was the employer of the murder victim, Sara Manning, who was the nanny for his son, Justin. After Sara's friend, Chloe Richardson, explained that Sara would usually only stay late at the Peterson's place on the nights that Howard's wife, Claudia, would be at work, Castle and Beckett initially think that he was having an affair with Sara and that he knew something about her being murdered.
