The Purveyor-class Manufacturing Platform was designed to be a self-sustaining manufacturing platform that could be used as a means to repurpose old equipment, ships, and debris, as well as a means of processing and refining asteroids and other metals floating in space. The platform has the ability to make a wide variety of MUIR products and is in wide use throughout the galaxy. The platform is controlled by a highly sophisticated artificial intelligence system. In a way the design is the perfect marriage of the two largest contributing corporations to the foundation of the conglomerate, Makesh Staryards and Iktoch Intelligentsia.
