Xiomara Astrid Michaelsen was a Starfleet officer on active duty during at least the late 23rd century. Both of Michaelsen's parents were tenth-generation Texans — her father predominantly of Scandinavian ancestry and her mother predominantly of Chinese ancestry — and professors at University of Texas at Austin. She was born in Austin, Texas, on 22 June 2268. At some point, Michaelsen also served aboard USS Denpasar.
