Guitar Hero: Masters of Metal is a music video game developed by Neversoft and distributed by Activision. The game was released in North America on the PlayStation 3, Wii, and XBox 360 on June 15th 2009 and on PlayStation 2 on August 3rd, then released globablly on August 12th. Guitar Hero: Masters of Metal is a spinoff from the main series, following Guitar Hero 5. A followup, Guitar Hero: Metal Gods was released later in 2009.
