Riddig was the son of Girfang, Boss of the Streamrats. He was a whiny, cowardly whelp. He annoyed Martin the Warrior and his companions by mimicking what they said, until he was hit in the tail by a slingstone. Riddig ran to his father, complaining, but Girfang beat him for lying after the attack was more ferocious than expected, saying that it must have been otters.
