The cave octopi only appears in the McDonalds special 7 minute episode called "The King!". In this episode, they took Squidward into the cave after he lost his mind. When he went in the cave, he names himself Octopi King. At the moment, they put a crown onto his head. They think he was a god who came down to assist them, possibly because he is an octopus like them, only taller and turquoise, plus the name also gave them an idea. Octopi King teaches them how to play with the clarinet, and then they visit the city (Bikini Bottom). At the end, they all sing "All Hail The King!"
