Being alone on Valentine's day doesn't bother me. Normally, I don't exude lugubriosity, But this year I am curious, What it's like to feel blue. Though it may be spurious, I've got nothing else to do. And I'm gonna shed tear after tear. Not that I'm a lonely guy, But Valentine's comes but once a year, I might as well give it a try. So I'll partake in all the weeping whims that I can find, Maybe watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Or dress all grim and gruesome And drive until I'm ill. Watch the happy twosomes, Whom, if I were truly lonely, I would probably want to kill.
