Cliff Simpson(born on April 4th 1923 in Toronto, Ontario) was a professional centre who played 6 games with the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League. He had three seasons of junior with the Toronto Young Rangers and Brantford Lions and one year split between senior hockey and professional when his career was interrupted by military service in 1943. He returned to the ice for the 1944-45 season and led his Senior loop with 28 goals that year. Simpson coached the junior Unionville Seaforths for part of the 1961-62 season.
