(Star Trek: The Stoneship Files: "Dilithium Dance") The Sable Order was largely seen, by 2402, to be an unit that largely served Lyran counts and Lyran dukes in their power games, to the extent that Mandy Guilmain had to lead the crew of the Stoneship into a protest to show that the SO hasn't given up on the people.
