S.H. MonsterArts is a new series of Kaiju figures developed by Tamashii Nations. The product line is distributed by Bluefin Distribution, and manufactured by Bandai Japan. This offshoot of the S.H. Figuarts line was introduced in early 2011, and the first figure was released in November of that year. Bluefin Distribution has slated each wave for simultaneous releases world-wide. Production is loosely based on kaiju popularity, while initially trending on the Godzilla Heisei era (1984-1995). Effects parts are sometimes included with first-wave releases.
