Nouri al-Baghdadi (born November 3284) is the current Chief Minister of Kafuristan and joint chairman of the National Democratic Party. Following the retirement of Zayn Nasri, al-Baghdadi ran for president in 3343, attempting to become Nasri's successor. After a highly controversial election, al-Baghdadi lost to the Ba'athist candidate. This was followed by accusations of voter intimidation and suppression, as well as massive protests in Abi'nadi. The day following the election, al-Baghdadi and the Black Scorpion Alliance announced that they would not recognized Grand-Ayatholla Abu Bakr al-Hashem as president.
